This is the departmental ceremony that includes American Studies
Wednesday, May 17, 2017, 9 - 11 am, Greek Theatre
The Undergraduate and Interdisciplinary Studies (UGIS) commencement ceremony includes students from ISF and other interdisciplinary majors -- American Studies, Media Studies, and Religious Studies. The ceremony will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at 9AM, in the Greek Theatre. If you graduated in Fall 2016 or plan to graduate in May, August, or December 2017, you are invited to participate.
*Please note that participating in the commencement ceremony or "walking" is not the same as graduating (the official awarding of your B.A. degree). To graduate, you need to put yourself on the College of Letters and Science degree list, AND have completed all requirements (university, college, campus, and major). Please contact the Office of Undergraduate Advising (206 Evans Hall) to do a degree check to be absolutely sure that you will have completed ALL requirements by the time you graduate. This link will allow you to sign-up and get your name in the commencement program after you complete a short exit surveyYou mustcomplete the exit survey, then SCROLL to the bottom of the page and press the SUBMIT button to be taken to a page to write your name and the name of your course of study / area of concentration to complete the process.
***Note that you MUST complete the survey and submit it or you won’t be allowed to register for the ceremony and your name will not appear in the graduation ceremony program.
